  8. Just stick some thermoelectric peltiers in an array underground where it's hot and pipe in some ocean water or even ice water from the poles. 24/7 power that is practically unlimited.

  9. As a nation, Britain seems committed to increasing Cycle-ways and walking tracks. It ALL these were surfaced with the French style roadway surfaces, A: Wear and tear would be drastically reduced. And B: the necessary infrastructure taken out of harms way from road accidents. Also, I can't help thinking of all the hundreds of thousands of miles of urban and suburban pavements in ALMOST EVERY country, where such panels could be laid FAR less expensively than on our busy roads.

    THEN. Anaerobic Digesters: All even moderately densely occupied areas have sewerage mains, leading to a sewage works. ? How much 'greenhouse gas' are they releasing un-harvested into the atmosphere? Could THAT source of potential energy be captured? Also, as renewal / expansion works are undertaken, couldn't these 'Digesters' be installed then?

  10. Pretty much all of these inventions are less efficient than current technology. If I have money to invest in an energy solution, then why would I not want to optimize the total amount of energy that I can get for my investment?

  11. Just like wind turbines, this is more industrial junk filling up nature and interfering with other species for human convenience. Real progress would be a cessation of economic growth and overpopulation.

  12. I have an invention that can solve the energy problem I just need my fair shot , with some honest non scammer people , my invention is 100% clean , silent and the most cost effective in the energy industry and can replace all sources we are using today

  13. In Germany the "Biogas Powerplants" are really common too and in the video another benefit of this process has not be named. While burning the bio-gas to produce electricity a big amount heat is produced and the heat is transferred to houses to them.

    Another thing about the cammeron article. The guy in the beginning is wearing a "LIDL" shirt (supermarket).

  14. Wouldn't it be simpler or cheaper to use the gutters to channel the rain water into a galvanic cell that extracts electric energy directly from it? And as for the solar panels, wouldn't it make more sense to use rechargeable batteries and stored surplus energy when it rains? As for raising taxes to raising money for photovoltaic roads in France, that is brilliant. My favorite is the Aerial Drones of the U.K. But I really dislike the last idea because it makes me squeamish.
